Paul Douglas – Vocals, Trombone, Piano Paul has 35 years of experience as a performer, musical director and educator in a wide range of settings and functions. Performed, directed and conducted at some of the most prestigious venues and festivals in the world, including: Royal Albert Hall, London Olympic Stadium, Munich Symphony Hall, BirminghamDisneyland Paris Legoland, Denmark Plus concerts & festivals in Germany, Austria, Holland, Czech Republic, USA, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, France, Belgium, Ukraine and throughout the UK, including the Bristol & Upton Jazz Festivals, and the Greenbelt Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Paul has appeared on various CD albums, and his collaboration with the internationally acclaimed jazz outfit Spirit ‘n’ Jazz has held No.1 spots at radio stations in Florida, Spain, Australia, Japan and Germany. In 2013 Paul featured on the album 'New Standards' released by Jazz Church. |
Jess Douglas – Alto Saxophone, Vocals A rising star, Jess has already performed at various venues across the UK, including Symphony Hall, Birmingham, as well as venues in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, China. Jess has played at the Upton Jazz Festival several times as well as the Greenbelt Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse. She was Lead Alto with Worcestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra from 2011-13. Jess also plays piano, viola and violin and has won various competitions for musical performance, as well as being the musical director of productions of Cabaret, We Will Rock You & The Wedding Singer. Jess is currently a music undergraduate at the University of York, and plays Alto Sax with the prestigious University of York Jazz Orchestra. |
